Daywise Detailed Itinerary


Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, a Yatra representative will meet you and guide you towards your designated vehicle. On arrival, check-in at the hotel for a sojourn and relax for some time.

The capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu is a blend of modern day technology with the old customs and traditions. This is the largest city of the country and receives a large influx of tourists all round the year. The old-age charm of this city is clearly visible from its historic edifices, temples, monasteries and festivals. 

This city is surrounded by four beautiful mountains namely Shivapuri, Phulchoki, Nagarjun and Chandragiri. With a large number of temples, shrines and monasteries, this city is also referred to as the 'Land of Gods'. This beautiful city is at an elevation of 1,400 metres above sea level and offers sensational views. Some of the attractions of this exotic city includes Boudha Nath Stupa, Pasupatinath Temple and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

On arrival at this destination, check-in at the hotel and repose for a while. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Soon after breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. Pay a visit to the famous Pasupatinath Temple, which is believed to be the one of the holiest shrines. Built before AD 400, this temple comes in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The main deity of this temple is Lord Pasupatinath, who is the incarnation of Lord Shiva. Situated on the banks of Bagmati River, this temple is an epitome of Nepalese Temple architecture. Entry of non-Hindu tourists is not allowed in the temple premises but they can adore the beauty of this temple from outside. 

After seeking blessings, head towards Boudhanath Stupa, which is another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Standing at an height of 36 metres, this is the biggest and the oldest Buddhist monuments in the entire country. The beautiful eye structure painted on the top of the stupa add to the divinity. Next place to visit is Patan, which is one of the major cities of Nepal. Its rich cultural heritage attracts thousands of tourists all year-round to visit this place. Locally known as Lalitpur, it is the second largest Valley in the region. Bestowed with numerous temples, monasteries and religious art, this place is the centre of Hindu and Buddhist culture. Glorious past of this city is evident from various metal statues, wood carvings, splendid architecture and temples dating back to the bygone era.

Next, visit the famous Kathmandu Durbar Square, which is a prominent tourist attraction. This complex is locally known as Hanuman Dhoka Palace Complex and has a huge Lord Hanuman statue at the entrance. Some of the attractions within the complex that must be explored include Taleju Temple, Jagannath Temple, Kumari Ghar and Kal Bhairav. 

Thereafter, leave for a visit to the Tibetan Refugee Centre, which is the home to a large segment of Tibetan population. There are various carpet factories here, which is the major source of earning. You can also indulge in shopping while a visit to this place. 

End the sightseeing with a visit to the beautiful Swoyambhu Nath Stupa. Built around 250 BC, this is among the most fascinating places in the world and an epitome of architectural excellence. All four sides of this stupa are painted with the eyes of Buddha. 

After spending an amazing day exploring this enticing destination, retire to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Soon after a palatable breakfast, leave the hotel in Kathmandu and proceed towards Chitwan. Widely recognised for its National Park, Chitwan is listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spread over an area of approximately 360 square miles, it is a home to 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of herpeto fauna and 126 species of fish along with numerous endangered species. Some of the rare species including One Horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger and Gharial Crocodile are also seen here. 

Rich flora and fauna of this exotic national park attracts a large number of tourists all year-round. On arrival at this exotic destination, check-in at the hotel and rest for some time. Later, leave the hotel for exploring Chitwan National Park. Take an elephant ride and enjoy safari in this exotic park. Watching wild animals in their natural habitat is a sheer delight and is not easily seen. If you are an adventure buff, you can also indulge in numerous other activities including canoeing, nature walks and bird watching. 

A walk in the lush green surroundings is sure to leave you with unforgettable memories. Also, watch the local folk dances and get an insight into the traditions and culture of this place.

After spending the whole day in the lap of nature, return to the hotel and enjoy a delectable dinner. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Welcome a beautiful morning and drive from Chitwan to Pokhara. The way leading to Pokhara is filled with undulating mountain terrains, lush greenery, sparkling rivers and serenity. Situated at a height of approximately 2,352 feet above sea level, a view of the surroundings from this destination is sensational. Annapurna range in the backdrop makes it a gateway for various trekking expeditions. 

On arrival at this exotic destination, check-in at the hotel and rest for some time. Later, in the afternoon head towards Bindabasini Temple, which is a beautiful temple dedicated to the goddess Durga. A view of the entire snow-line from this temple is sure to mesmerise you. While visiting this temple, enjoy a stroll in the local markets, which are on the way to this temple. 

After worshipping the deity, head towards another prominent attraction, Devi's fall. Locally known as Patale Chhango (Nether Fall), this fall is bestowed with immense natural beauty. This is the best place to sit and spend some leisure time with your friends and family. Opposite to this sparkling lake is the Gupteshwar Cave, which is considered sacred. This cave has natural forms of various deities namely Lord Shiva, Goddess Parbati, Naag and Lord Ganesha. Photography is strictly prohibited inside the cave.

After a beautiful day, retire to the hotel and stay overnight.

Soon after breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu and thereafter, head to Nagarkot. This little town is set amidst the Himalayas and situated at a distance of 32 km from Kathmandu. It offers a panoramic view of the Mt. Everest and is also famous for its sunrise and sunset. After a mesmerising day, get back to your hotel and relax overnight.

Relish a delicious breakfast and exit from the hotel to leave for Nagarkot. Nestled amidst snow-capped mountains, this place is a paradise for honeymooners and nature buffs. Situated at an elevation of approximately 7,000 metres above sea level, this place is known for offering panoramic views of the Mount Everest. Also, adore the beauty of sun settling down in between the lofty mountains.

On arrival at this destination, check-in at the hotel and rest for some time. Later, go for the sightseeing of this sensational destination. Retire to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Post breakfast, drive to the Tribhuvan International Airport, biding adieu to this extraordinary destination.
