Daywise Detailed Itinerary

On landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, meet a our representative and transfer to the hotel. The latter half of the day is reserved for a sightseeing adventure in Kathmandu.

The city of Kathmandu, located in its namesake valley, can be rightfully called the cultural hub of Nepal. Its history spans over 2000 years, and a trip to this destination is a treat for any cultural enthusiast. The moderate altitude of the city keeps the weather pleasant for most part of the year.

The sightseeing adventure begins with a trip to the highly revered Pashupatinath Temple. Situated on the banks of the Bagmati River, it is one of the most visited Hindu temples in Nepal. The shrine is dedicated to Lord Pashupati, a manifestation of Lord Shiva, and exhibits the pagoda-style of Buddhist architecture.

This jaunt further takes you to Boudhanath, one of the most important centres of Buddhism in Nepal. The monument is situated on top of an irregular 16-sided platform, and is also one of the biggest stupas in the country. From above, it looks like a giant mandala, and the spire atop the stupa has the eyes of Lord Buddha painted on its four sides.

After this excursion, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, travel to Chitwan National Park. Under normal traffic conditions, the drive takes around 6 hours.

Translating into the heart of the jungle, Chitwan is also the name of a district and valley in Nepal. Established in 1973, Chitwan National Park is the oldest protected territory of the country, and it also enjoys the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Upon arrival at this wildlife hotspot, enjoy refreshments at the reception, organised by an avid naturalist, and also receive a briefing on the upcoming activities.

Thereafter, transfer to your lodging and for an overnight stay.

Post breakfast, enter the park for some adventurous jungle activities.

Covering an area of about 932 sq km in the Terai region, it is one of the best sites in Nepal for wildlife spotting. The park is home to many species of mammals, reptiles and birds, but its highlights are royal Bengal tigers and one-horned rhinoceros. Home to over 500 species of avifauna, this place has become a popular destination among birdwatchers as well.

Enjoy exciting jungle activities for half-a-day, and later move to Pokhara. It takes about 7 hours to reach Pokhara from Chitwan National Park under normal road conditions.

On reaching Pokhara, transfer to the hotel for a good night’s sleep.

With a mesmerising backdrop of the Annapurna Range, Pokhara is a major city of Nepal that is visited by hordes of tourists every year. Three enchanting lakes, namely Begnas, Rupa and Phewa, are easily accessible from here.

Post breakfast, set out on an excursion to explore the city, and later drive to Kathmandu.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel and stay overnight

Post breakfast, stroll in the city and get an insight into its rich culture and heritage.

After exploring Kathmandu, move to Swayambhunath, one of the oldest Buddhist stupas in the nation. On any given day, hordes of monks can be seen here performing their daily rituals. The shikharas or pyramidal towers around the dome-shaped stupa hint at the blending of the traditional Hindu and Buddhist architectural styles.

Following this sightseeing venture, transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport and board the flight for your onward journey.
